The AFC Hayes game has been postponed following this mornings pitch inspection. Temperatures of -7 degrees in the night had left the pitch frozen and with no chance of thawing before 3.00pm.

Three games were played on Tuesday and all ended with the away sides winning. Basement boys Marlow lost 1-3 to Beaconsfield, whilst Saturdays visitors AFC Hayes went down 0-3 to Chertsey. Bedfonts pull away from the relegation area was helped as they won 2-0 at Daventry, a result that sucked the home side into the dog fight.

On Saturday AFC Hayes are the visitors to Calthorpe Park. Their promotion push has come off the rails recently but they stilll lie in 9th place. We have never beaten them in the league, losing 1-2 the last time they came here (April '08, Mark Anderson scoring for us) and we unluckily lost the reverse fixture 1-2 when Pat Cox scored our only goal. It promises to be a close encounter as we both seek the full three points.

We moved out of the relegation palces after beating Bedworth. Marlow stay bottom after a 1-3 loss to Biggleswade and N Greenford are just above them after losing 0-1 to Uxbridge. Of the other teams at the bottom Bedfont won 3-2 at Chalfont but Daventry and Leighton both lost 0-1 (to Northwood & Ashford respectively). Aylesbury were hammered 9-2 at St Neots who stay 2nd behind Slough, 3-0 victors over Chertsey to keep a 3 point gap at the top.
