Three goals in the last 9 minutes turned this game on its head in sensational fashion, Fleet mid-fielder, Gareth Keeping heading in the winner with only seconds of the match remaining.
The dramatic turn around, thanks in part to some shrewd substitutions by Fleet manager, Ian Saunders, came after visitors, Dorking had looked to have sealed the match with a third goal, 10 minutes into the second-half.
The home side went ahead after only 2 minutes when Keeping followed up a powerful 20 yard strike from mid-fielder, Luke Middleton, which Dorking keeper, Stuart Baverstock could only fend off.
Despite the early advantage, Fleet then struggled to contain the lively Dorking front-men and looked vulnerable after conceding a string of free-kicks. On 10 minutes, defender, James Mann equalised after Fleet failed to clear a well-struck free-kick from Stephen Coyle.
On 33 minutes, Dorking went ahead, this time from a corner, headed in by leading striker, Jean-Serg Nusungu.
Sub Phil Archbold almost squared things for Fleet just before the break, but his shot dipped just over the bar, with Baverstock beaten.
After the break, the visitors extended their lead when Steve Valandia broke free of the off-side trap and rounded keeper Justin Gray to score.
With 20 minutes to go, Saunders brought on a third striker, Eddie Smith and on the right, youth team mid-fielder, Martin Girling.
Fleet pressed hard and on 81 minutes forced one back when Mealey volleyed home a great pass through from strike partner, Lee Paul.
Two minutes later it was all square again after a great run down the right by pacy youngster, Girling, whose cross lead to a mad scramble in the goal-mouth, and, following in his cross Girling knocked the ball through a crowded goal-mouth to score his first senior goal.
With Dorking reeling from the sudden turn around, Fleet kept on pressing for the winner. A powerful strike from sub-frontman Smith was only inches over. But with the match in the final minute, a well-struck free-kick from wingback Tony Millerick, was met by Keeping, who headed in the winner in dramatic style.
