Bashley got back to winning ways with a narrow victory over struggling Fleet, although the visitors had the better chances of the game.
The visitors almost went in front inside the first minute when a misplaced pass from James Stokoe let in David Ocquaye but he blazed over the top when clean through.
Stokoe was then well tackled by Neil Morant as he battled for the breakthrough and Ocquaye again fired well over the top, after Phil Archbold released him.
Bashley eventually took the lead on 54 minutes when Dave Wakefield released Nick Ferrett on the left and his first time cross was headed in at the near post by Richard Gillespie.
Straight away Bashley keeper, David Elm produced a fingertip save to agaimn deny Ocquaye. Defender, Jermaine Hamilton then headed just over at the far post from another good chance.
Fleet then piled on the pressure and laid siege on the Bashley goal. From one good move, defender, Steve Riley nodded the ball back across and wingman, Tinoi Christie planted a firm header goalwards, only to see Elm produce another superb stop to turn it away for another corner.
