Two late goals weren't enough for Fleet to salvage something from this difficult trip to Cray on Saturday.
Three down after 63 minutes, the game looked all over, but late goals from skipper, Steve Riley and striker David OcQuaye set up a nervous last ten minutes for the Bromley-based side. But in the end, Fleet could not break through again
Things started badly for Fleet, when Jamie Wood was felled in the box by Tinoi Christie in the 17th minute, and striker, Phil Collins netted to put Cray in the lead.
Cray extended their lead in the 35th minute, when from a free-kick, Danny Bower headed in powerfully from close range.
Cray went further ahead after the break, Collins getting his second in the 63rd minute, after another free-kick was not cleared by the Fleet defence.
After Riley netted with a powerful 20 yard drive late on, things changed for Fleet. OcQuaye made it 3-2, with 10 minutes to go, with another great finish, but Fleet had left it all too late.
