Two high-quality goals from Fleet striker, David OcQuaye secured this fine win for Fleet to draw them away from the relegation area. The powerful striker proved quite a handful for the Banstead defence all afternoon, ably supported by strike partner, Josh Francois.
OcQuaye's opener on 30 minutes, came from a free-kick on the right, which the striker met well with his head, giving Banstead keeper, Paul Borg no chance as it flew into the top of the goal.
Up to this point Banstead had competed well from mid-field, where Simon Huckle was controlling things, but without creating any chances.
Three minutes after the break Fleet extended their lead, OcQuaye this time picking up a good pass from Francois and firing in across the goal and into the far corner from 15 yards.
To their credit the visitors kept going well, and twice forced good saves from Fleet keeper, Paul Smith. Sub Marcel Dennis should though have done better with his side's best chance on 73 minutes when with Smith beaten he failed to hit the target.
But despite raising their game well, the visitors created few other chances thanks to some excellent work in the central defence by Steve Riley and skipper Andy Darnton. As a result Fleet ran out comfortable winners.
