With their league game against Ramsgate postponed, Fleet Town took an away day on the Isle of Wight on Saturday, and ran out comfortable winners against lower league county cup opponents, East Cowes.

Two second-half goals did the trick, after the Islanders had fought strongly for the first 45 minutes. But a header by James Rose on 60 minutes, direct from a James Mann throw-in broke the deadlock. And the tall defender, Mann was on hand 16 minutes later to seal things, after a goal-mouth scramble.
