The new season is less than a couple of weeks away now and to coincide with this, we are pleased to let you be amongst the first to know that today we have launched the 'Footy Flutter' at Fleet Town FC.
It's a great way of winning cash prizes each month and helping the club too. And it costs just £10.00 per month to take part.
Full details, including an application form are on the website, (on the Fanzone page, under Footy Flutter).
Alternatively, just call or e-mail me the club and we will make the necessary arrangements on your behalf.
We hope that you able to join up, even if just for a couple of months, as your support, as we strive to get that elusive promotion this time round, could be invaluable.
So as we dust off our scarves and replica shirts for one more season.....................
Come on you Blues!

A Season's View
28.05.2008
How do you measure success in football terms? By winning cups, doing well in your league and by entertaining your supporters? Well, if that's the case Fleet Town have had a very successful season, so why do we feel so down? The answer, because we didn't win promotion when the expectation was so high and we know we were better than Uxbridge and Oxford City, the league table proved that.
Under the Chairmanship of Graham and Management of Andy, we have had a very successful season, indeed our best ever, we should not forget that and should congratulate them.
I know Andy feels we should get more support from Fleet residents and I agree with him, but, in fact, our gates did increase and I believe this was down to local support and not visiting supporters - Farnborough being the obvious exception. But even for our home game with them there was more home support than ever before - I know because I was on the gate! And how the fans got behind the Blues - what a victory, probably the highlight of our season!
Promotion, in my view, was lost against the lesser sides in the league and probably the away defeats at Godalming and Slough were crucial, those six points would have possibly won us the league. The nightmare of Uxbridge would then have been unnecessary.
Andy Sinton has been the star for me this season, encouraging players to stay at the club and improving the squad with players like Mark Anderson and Ben Wright. But look at the improvement of individual players brought on by Andy and Steve Mellor. They had more strings to their bows this season and watching James Field cutting in from the left and curling the ball into the net with his right foot is pure magic. Other players have improved too, including Paul Smith and Nathan Smart, and why didn't Damien Smith's parents come and watch him earlier in the season? They watched him at Taunton and his season was turned around! I don't want to mention too many players individually because it has been a team effort from everybody including Graham, players who have perhaps only played one or two games, other members of the volunteer brigade and Maria in the tea bar.
I think this has been a great season by anyone's standards and I thank Andy and the boys for some great moments. I am honoured and proud to be associated with this club and we would welcome more help and support if you feel you are able.
So, the Ryman League beckons again, we are better than last time around , so let's take it by storm and make playoffs a thing of the past - PLEASE!
