Fleet Town FC Welcomes Dan Campling to the Board of Directors
Fleet Town FC is delighted to confirm the appointment of Dan Campling as a Director of the Football Club. Dan originally joined the committee in 2023 and now steps up to the boardroom for the 2025/26 season, bringing with him a wealth of experience, energy, and creativity.
As the founder of local design and marketing agency Brandtastic, Dan has already transformed the way the Club presents itself – from digital marketing and social media to the matchday day programme, commercial materials and the Club’s new badge, which he designed in 2022.
Born and raised in Fleet and Crookham, Dan is a familiar face in the community. He went to school locally and played youth football for local teams (including Fleet Town at U9s!) and now coaches grassroots kids football himself. His passion for non-league started early in his career, when he designed the Aldershot Town matchday programmes for several seasons during their climb up the pyramid following their reformation.
Dan will continue to lead on all things brand and marketing, but his new role will also cover how the Club presents itself physically and experientially – from matchdays and fan engagement to community events and commercial partnerships.
Speaking about the appointment, Dan said:
It’s a real honour to join the board. I care deeply about the Club and the town, and I want to help build something special here. Non-league football has a magic to it, a bit more soul than the pro game – I want everything we do, on and off the pitch, to reflect aspirations we have as a club to play at a higher level. I have a lot to learn but i’m having a great time doing that and I hope my skillset can contribute positively.
Caroline Bone, Club Chair and Operations Director, said:
“Dan’s contribution over the past two years has been outstanding. His creativity and professional standards have helped raise the bar for the whole club. He’s passionate about the town and about doing things the right way, and we’re thrilled to have him join the board.”
Darren McGrath, Vice-Chair and Commercial Director, added:
“Dan gets what this club is all about – community, identity and ambition. He’s played a big part in helping us look and feel more professional, which in turn helps us attract sponsors, fans and players. He’s a great addition to the leadership team, and I’m looking forward to continuing our work together.”
With Dan now officially part of the board, the Club is excited to continue developing its vision for the future.
