Craig Hayman set for second season as Women’s First Team Manager
Fleet Town FC is delighted to confirm that Craig Hayman has committed to the 2025/26 season as Women’s First Team Manager.
Having taken the women’s team to the top of the table for Southern Region Women’s League, Division 1 South, and promotion to Tier 5 in the 2024/25 season, Craig is looking forward to the getting the team prepared for further success. With the full support of the Board of Directors, as well as the senior club committee, Craig will be spending the summer developing existing and new talent to help expand and drive women’s football at Fleet Town.
I can’t speak highly enough of our team. I’ve known and coached some of the girls for more than 6 years, and it’s been great to see how they’ve taken to senior level football over the season.
Fleet Town FC Chair, Caroline Bone, is excited for the progress made by the Senior women’s side. “It’s been brilliant watching the women go from strength to strength this season, and getting comfortable playing for our club. We are a young side with loads of drive and energy, and I see a lot of potential as we go into next season with Craig at the helm. We’re really happy to have him on board.”
Craig said: “As a group this season, I can’t speak highly enough of our team. I’ve known and coached some of the girls for more than 6 years, and it’s been great to see how they’ve taken to senior level football over the season. Since we’ve moved to Fleet Town, the club has been fully supportive and has helped us at every step and I can’t thank them enough.
I’m looking forward to the challenge of taking on new teams in Tier 5, taking another run at the FA Cup and League Cup, and introducing some more experienced players into the group to strengthen the team who will help to take us to the next level.”
