Dan Bones Pre-Match Thoughts

Dan Bone gives his thoughts going into Saturdays match away to Horley Town in the Combined Counties Premier Division South.

What a start to 2024, our victory against Sandhurst just goes to show how well we are doing as a squad. Despite the win, we were frustrated with the start and end to the game and this is something we will look to put right moving forward.

I would personally like to thank everyone who came out and supported us last year. I would also like to say thank you for the welcome I’ve had since returning and I hope to continue re-paying that with more goals like last weekend. On top of this to have over 300 at our first home game this year just goes to shows we are moving in an exciting direction!

Onto Saturdays game, we travel to Horley. We know this will not be an easy game with them being just 4 points behind us with a game in hand. However, if we perform to the levels we have been recently and that we are producing in training, we feel confident of getting the result we want. Hopefully our away support will continue to be there as this is always appreciated!
