Darryl Evans bolsters his Management Team!
Fleet Town FC is thrilled to announce the latest additions to Darryl Evans’ management team, welcoming Ben Murray as our new assistant manager and Kavi Luchowa to the coaching staff. Both bring extensive coaching experience from their tenures at notable clubs including Burnham, Northwood, Farnborough, and Ashford. Their combined knowledge and understanding of this level of football promises to add significant strength to the team.
Ben Murray, who joins as assistant manager, will be working closely with the squad and making his first appearance on Tuesday night for the away fixture against Sandhurst Town. Ben’s background at clubs like Burnham, where he was first team manager, and Farnborough has honed his ability to develop players and drive competitive performances. Ben and Kavi lead Burnham to a very successful season last year where they finished just outside the playoffs in the Combined Counties Premier Division North and also came away with silverware after they beat Virginia Water in the final of the Combined Counties Football League / Cherry Red Records Premier Challenge Cup!
Meanwhile, Kavi Luchowa will be joining up with the team next Saturday, in time for Fleet Town’s FA Vase second-round match against Rochester United. Luchowa’s experience across a variety of clubs brings a fresh approach that aligns with goals and objectives of the squad. Here’s what Kavi had to say on his appointment as a first team coach;
“The opportunity to come in at a properly run football club, with big ambitions, was one that was too hard to turn down. Looking forward to getting to work with Darryl and the lads.”
In a statement, manager Darryl Evans shared his excitement about the appointments:
“I am thrilled to announce the addition of two highly experienced coaches, Ben Murray and Kavi Luchowa, to our coaching staff. With impressive backgrounds across clubs such as Burnham, Northwood, Ashford, and Farnborough, Ben and Kavi bring a wealth of knowledge that will undoubtedly strengthen our team and help bolster our goals for the season.
Since taking over as gaffer, I’ve been mindful about building a coaching team that truly aligns with our vision and values. This decision wasn’t made lightly after numerous conversations, it became clear that Ben and Kavi not only share our club’s ambitions but also bring fresh perspectives that will help us future-proof our approach. The synergy between us has been evident from the start, and I believe their expertise will give us that additional edge we’re looking for throughout the season.
A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported this process, and please join me in giving Ben and Kavi a warm welcome. We’re excited for what lies ahead with them on board!”
The club looks forward to the positive impact both Murray and Luchowa will bring, and we encourage fans to show their support in welcoming them to the Fleet Town family!
Welcome to Fleet, Ben and Kavi.
