Fleet Town picked up another three points at home on Tuesday night to maintain their play off push with this victory over local rivals Camberley Town.
There were few chances in the early exchanges at The Easy As HGV Stadium, the first opening saw Camberley’s Erim Dinctop pick up a Yellow Card, after three minutes, following 50/50 contact with Fleet keeper Finley Purcell. As the half progressed, Fleet Town had more possession and attacking moves but without a clear opening as they searched for the first goal. After Thirty-Two minutes Fleet were awarded a free kick in a dangerous position, taken by Tom Smith he whipped the ball into the box, where Ross Stepney rose to head the ball past Dom West in the visitors goal, to give Fleet Town the lead. Half time was reached with the score still 1-0 to Fleet Town.
The second half saw Fleet pressing forward, looking to extend their advantage. In the Fifty-Seventh minute Dan Bone brought the ball forward and found Leo Decabo, a recent signing from Burnham, who fired the ball into top corner of the net to double Fleet’s lead. A couple of minutes after this goal, Camberley were temporally reduced to ten players when Issac Dinsdale was sent to the Sin Bin for ten minutes. Fleet kept control of the match and were able to utilise their bench and bring on fresh legs to keep the pressure on Camberley and it was Kwesi Ntim who made the game safe for Fleet when he brought the ball down the left before firing his shot into the top left of the goal only a couple of minutes after coming off the bench, to score his first goal for Fleet and make it 3-0 after Eighty-Seven minutes to the delight of all the Fleet Town fans in the ground. The last minutes passed quickly and more celebrations followed when the final whistle blew.
