Fleet Town Women to Face Winchester City Flyers in WFA Cup

The 2026/27 Women’s FA Cup is now well underway, and we are approaching the Second Round Qualifying where Fleet Town Women’s First Team will enter the tournament.

The Women’s FA Cup provides our players the opportunity to compete in a national tournament and hopefully earn some critical prize money for the team. The draw for this round has been announced, and Fleet will be playing Winchester City Flyers at their home ground on 20th September. 

The Flyers are a challenging draw for Fleet, as they just narrowly missed out on promotion last season, coming second in the table and just one point shy of the division leaders Wycombe Wanderers. However we are up for the challenge, and our team will have a few more matches under their belts by the 20th September.

Elsewhere in our league, Farnham Town have drawn a derby against Badshot Lea, Southampton Women’s FC will play AFC Portchester, and Woodley United are up against Chesham United.
