New Signing Announcement: Ollie Burke Joins Fleet Town FC!
We’re pleased to confirm the signing of striker Ollie Burke, who joins us from Yateley United ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Ollie is a familiar face to many, having grown up in Fleet and come through the youth section here at the club. After time with Camberley Town U18s, he made the move to Yateley United, where he enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2024/25.
Starting the campaign in Yateley’s U23s, Ollie quickly caught the eye with his goal-scoring form and was promoted to the first team midway through the season. From there, he didn’t look back — finishing with 19 goals in 20 games at first-team level and winning their Golden Boot in the process. Across all level, he racked up 35 goals in 35 appearances, underlining his instinctive finishing and consistency in front of goal.
Still only 19, Ollie brings a real presence up top, offering pace, movement and sharp decision-making in and around the box. He’s the type of forward who finds space, makes clever runs, and knows how to put the ball in the net — something we’re sure our supporters will enjoy watching this season.
Manager Daryll Evans had this to say:
“We’ve been keeping tabs on Ollie for a while and he’s exactly the sort of player we want at the club. Local lad, knows what the badge means, and has shown he can deliver goals consistently. We’re looking forward to helping him kick on again this season.”
For Ollie, the move is a return to familiar ground, and we’re proud to see a former youth player come full circle and rejoin us as part of the senior squad.
