Women’s First Team Look Ahead to 2026/2027 Season

Well, this season has been a learning curve.
Last season we got Fleet Town Women back up to Tier 5, which is one league below the National League.
And we’ve stayed up this season with a young, fresh team – 16 and 17-year-olds, some just turning 18. And they’ve done an amazing job.
As the season’s gone on, we’ve got stronger. Even though many of the team also plays U18s JPL on Saturdays, which may have impacted our season towards the end, the girls are developing their skills and experience, and getting better and better. I’m proud of them all.
Next season I’ll just be focused on Fleet and looking to bring in some new players to strengthen our team and do a push for a promotion to the National League.
We have big ambitions for our women’s section as a whole, and for our first team. The first of our trials will be held on Thursday 28th May – and we hope to find some great talent to join us.
