Darryl’s thoughts ahead of Sheerwater this Saturday

Darryl Evans shared his pre-match thoughts ahead of Saturday’s trip to Sheerwater in the Combined Counties Premier Division South.

As we approach another crucial fixture, as we travel to Sheerwater this Saturday in what promises to be a competitive and hard-fought game.

Sheerwater currently sit in 12th place after playing 33 games, compared to our 25. With 35 points to our 55, the table suggests we are favorites, but in the Combined Counties League, nothing is ever guaranteed.

Sheerwater are one of the in-form teams as they enter the final stretch of the season, sitting just one place above us in the form guide, both teams have taken 11 points from their last six games.

We know TJ and his team will be fired up and ready for a tough battle, so we expect nothing less than a real test.

However, after last weekend’s dominant 3-0 win over Tadley, the squad is in great shape and full of confidence.

With promotion in sight, every game is vital, and we will be looking to extend our strong run of form. This weekend, we also welcome some new signings who could make their debuts, adding further strength as we enter the business end of the season.
