Fleet Town FC Appoint Eoin Fraser as New Club Captain
Fleet Town FC are delighted to announce that Eoin Fraser has been appointed as the club’s new First Team Captain ahead of the upcoming season.
A big presence in the heart of midfield, Eoin brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of leadership. Having captained Redhill last year, he has consistently demonstrated the qualities required to inspire those around him, both on and off the pitch.
First Team Manager Darryl Evans shared his thoughts on the appointment:
“Eoin is a true leader, both on and off the pitch. His unwavering commitment to excellence and his high standards make him a natural choice for this important role. He sets the bar high for himself and his teammates, always holding himself and others accountable in the pursuit of success.
Beyond his leadership in the game, Eoin is also an incredible mentor to fellow players. His guidance, wisdom, and positive influence help shape the growth of our team, and his presence creates an environment of respect and camaraderie.
Eoin is not only a phenomenal player but also a true gentleman, a fantastic individual whose dedication and character shine through in everything he does. We look forward to a successful season with Eoin leading us forward, and we couldn’t be prouder to have him as our Club Captain.”
Eoin’s appointment marks an exciting chapter for Fleet Town FC as the team looks to build on last season’s progress. With his determination, professionalism, and ability to lead by example, there’s no doubt he will play a pivotal role in guiding the club to success on and off the pitch this season.
Speaking about his new role, Eoin Fraser said:
“First and foremost, a big thank you to the gaffer for offering and entrusting me with the role of leading the team forward this season. Being recognised for my leadership is something I take great pride in and it really does mean a lot to be offered the position, it was a no brainer to accept.
Although we have undergone a bit of a rebuild at the club, the group we have formed are already showing really good signs of togetherness. To be at the forefront of that is something I am really looking forward to and I’m sure we are going to have a successful season together.”
Eoin’s leadership will be crucial as Fleet Town look to blend a refreshed squad with a strong sense of unity and ambition. His ability to inspire those around him makes him perfectly suited to guide the team through the challenges ahead.
Everyone at Fleet Town FC wishes Eoin the very best in his new role as Club Captain.
