Fleet Town FC Signs Forward Chike Kandi!

Fleet Town FC is thrilled to announce the signing of forward Chike Kandi. The accomplished attacker brings a wealth of experience to the club, having played in the National League and National League South.

Chike Kandi gave his thoughts on signing for Fleet Town: “Buzzing to be a part of an exciting team! Here to win and get around the lads who have welcomed me straight away! Up the Fleet!”

Kandi’s career includes stints with Aldershot Town, Woking, and Dagenham & Redbridge. He has also featured for Farnborough Town where he instantly became a fans favourite! Chike made his debut for the club last night in our 4-1 victory over Badshot Lea, and made an instant impact. Chike scored his first goal for the club after a great run and also set Mal Thomas up to score the third!

Fleet Town FC’s joint-manager, Darryl Evans, shared his thoughts on the new signing, saying, “This is a huge scalp for us. We have been in contact with Chike Kandi for over five weeks, talking to him about the potential of playing for Fleet Town. Thankfully after building a connection with him and developing some great synergy and conveying our goals for this year, Chike decided to sign for Fleet.

He brings bags of potential and experience that will help bolster our squad, his knowledge and aura around the dressing room has also had an immediate impact on and off the pitch. This was there to be seen with his link up play and debut goal in front of our home fans last night.

Once I received the confirmation that he wanted to make the leap, this was a decision myself and Elliott could not turn down. We are so excited to have Chike onboard and looking forward to seeing him flourish and gaining even more confidence. Please join me and the management team in giving him a warm welcome.”

With pre-season preparations in full swing, Kandi’s arrival is perfectly timed. Fans and teammates alike eagerly await to see more of Chike, anticipating the dynamic energy and goal-scoring flair he is known for.

Welcome to Fleet, Chike!
