Goalkeeper Coach Wanted!

Fleet Town FC is based in Fleet, Hampshire. Our men’s first team competes in the highly competitive Combined Counties Premier Division South. With a rich history and a commitment to excellence, we are dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering a winning culture on and off the pitch.
We are currently seeking a talented goalkeeper coach to join our management team. In this role, you will lead training sessions for our goalkeepers, working closely with our first team manager, Elliott Hunt, and other coaches to develop and implement a cohesive Goalkeeping philosophy that aligns with the overall team DNA. This role is voluntary.
Responsibilities:
- Lead training sessions for our goalkeepers, focusing on technical skills, positioning, decision making, and game management.
- Collaborate with the first team manager and other coaches to develop personalised training sessions with our goalkeepers.
- Attend training sessions on Thursday nights and Tuesday nights (if no match scheduled), and of course match days (Saturday afternoons and Tuesday nights).
- Provide feedback and support to goalkeepers during matches, helping them to continuously improve their performance.
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment, encouraging open communication and a growth mindset.
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching goalkeepers.
- Strong knowledge of goalkeeping techniques and tactics.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to attend training sessions and matches as required.
- Passion for developing young talent and helping players reach their full potential.
