Joel Halliday’s Pre-Match Thoughts

Joel Halliday gives his thoughts going into tomorrows match against Tadley Calleva, as he makes his return to the squad after a few weeks out due to injury.

I am very excited about the Tadley game on Tuesday night, this will be my first game for Fleet in over a month so I’m buzzing to get back out there! Having started the season playing in Tadley colours, it gives me an extra incentive to get the 3 points. Tadley are a very good side with some great players. So we are expecting a tough test, but are more than prepared. I’m loving my time at Fleet and have really settled in well, massive credit to Pestle, Rayon, Brad, Nunes and Sam as our defensive record has been very good. My highlight so far in a Fleet shirt was our 3-1 win away Redhill. I think since that win we have really gelled together as a team. The standard in training is very high and the gaffer & coaching staff are top class. Coming off the back of 3 wins we are confident and looking forward to the game. We hope to see as many of you as possible supporting us!
