Women’s First Team Manager: Applications open

Fleet Town Football Club is inviting applications for the voluntary position of Women’s First Team Manager, offering an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the next chapter of our club’s development.

The Role

We are looking to appoint an ambitious, motivated and experienced manager to lead our Women’s First Team, currently competing in the Southern Region Women’s Premier Division (Tier 5).

This voluntary role offers the opportunity to build a competitive, sustainable team with the ambition of achieving promotion to Tier 4 of the FA Women’s National League in the near future.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Leading First Team training, match preparation, tactics and performance.
  • Developing players and creating a positive, competitive team environment.
  • Working alongside our coaching staff and Head of Women’s Football on player recruitment and squad development.
  • Supporting the progression of talented young players through our club’s development pathway.

Developing Our Player Pathway

Central to our plans is a clear and structured pathway for female players, from grassroots football through to our Women’s First Team.

Working alongside our grassroots girls’ teams, JPL partners Hartlands Girls Academy, our Women’s Development Team and our newly launched Football & Education Academy we are establishing a joined-up approach to coaching, player development and progression.

It is essential that our new First Team Manager fully embraces this philosophy, helping to establish a consistent playing style and coaching approach across all levels, ensuring players can progress seamlessly through the pathway into First Team football.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and forward-thinking individual with strong football knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and develop players.

Previous experience in women’s football, relevant coaching qualifications and experience managing or coaching at a competitive level would be advantageous.

Above all, we want someone who shares our vision, believes in developing young talent and is committed to the club’s long-term success.

An Ambitious Club with a Clear Vision

Following the appointment of a new Board of Directors earlier this year, Fleet Town FC has embarked on an ambitious five-year development plan, with the growth and success of women’s football firmly at the forefront of our vision.

As a progressive, community-focused club with a growing supporter base, we are committed to strengthening women’s football and creating opportunities for players at every level.

Be Part of Our Future

This is more than an opportunity to manage a football team. It’s a chance to become part of an ambitious club, contribute to our long-term plans and play a key role in shaping the future of women’s football at Fleet Town FC.
