Chipstead 0 Fleet Town 2

Fleet Town returned to winning ways at Chipstead on Saturday afternoon.

Fleet Town’s squad on the day was boosted by the return of Fareed Hakeem-Habeeb as he recovers from his injury picked up in the game against Horley Town last month. The first half saw defences on top cutting out the half chances that the two teams were able to create. The game remained scoreless at the break.

The second half saw Fleet Town take control of the game and get well on top. It took until the seventieth minute for Fleet to break the deadlock, Tane Caubo found himself in space on the left side of the box and was able to slide the ball past Klevis Muca into the net to open the scoring. Only Seven minutes later Tane Caubo scored his second when he collected a pass from the left by sub Fareed Hakeem-Habeeb. Fleet Town controlled the final minutes of the match to see out a deserved victory, with Finley Purcell keeping another clean sheet in the Fleet goal.

Fleet Town are back at home at The Easy As HGV Stadium on Tuesday night against Camberley Town.
